More of Your Glory LORD

After an exciting week of enjoying the presence of GOD and experiencing the Power of the Holy Spirit in our midst we know that our lives will never be the same again. This week we had Prophet Carl Wills and Pastor Phil Playfoot from the UK with us who GOD used so powerfully. We saw the wounded made whole, healing, salvation and just an awesome cloud of GOD's Glory. Definitely greater things are yet to come.

Prepare the church for Recession

As the world is being challenged by recession and everyone talking about how bad things are and that the situations just seems to get darker. We are reminded that JESUS Christ declared that He is the light of the World and that all we need to do is seek His righteousness first and all the other things will be added. As the body of Christ we should not look at what the world is saying about the recession but more look towards our source and strength the LORD GOD Almighty. The One who is, Who was and is to come. Remember that the earth is the LORD's and everything in it and that our GOD owns the cattle on a thousand hills. So we should be ready for the recession as an opportunity for GOD's Glory to be revealed in the dark and tough times. You can download this article about how the church should be prepared for the recession.

That's My King

I was so encouraged by the video above and the sermon that I thought it needed to be shares because JESUS Christ is MY KING!!!

"That's My King" by the late Dr. S. M. Lockeridge, a pastor from San Diego, California said these words in a sermon in Detroit in 1976:

My King was born King. The Bible says He's a Seven Way King. He's the King of the Jews - that's an Ethnic King. He's the King of Israel - that's a National King. He's the King of righteousness. He's the King of the ages. He's the King of Heaven. He's the King of glory. He's the King of kings and He is the Lord of lords. Now that's my King.

Well, I wonder if you know Him. Do you know Him? Don't try to mislead me. Do you know my King? David said the Heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork. My King is the only one of whom there are no means of measure that can define His limitless love. No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of the shore of His supplies. No barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing.

He's enduringly strong. He's entirely sincere. He's eternally steadfast. He's immortally graceful. He's imperially powerful. He's impartially merciful. That's my King. He's God's Son. He's the sinner's saviour. He's the centerpiece of civilization. He stands alone in Himself. He's honest. He's unique. He's unparalleled. He's unprecedented. He's supreme. He's pre-eminent. He's the grandest idea in literature. He's the highest personality in philosophy. He's the supreme problem in higher criticism. He's the fundamental doctrine of historic theology. He's the carnal necessity of spiritual religion. That's my King.

He's the miracle of the age. He's the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him. He's the only one able to supply all our needs simultaneously. He supplies strength for the weak. He's available for the tempted and the tried. He sympathizes and He saves. He's the Almighty God who guides and keeps all his people. He heals the sick. He cleanses the lepers. He forgives sinners. He discharged debtors. He delivers the captives. He defends the feeble. He blesses the young. He serves the unfortunate. He regards the aged. He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meek. That's my King.

Do you know Him? Well, my King is a King of knowledge. He's the wellspring of wisdom. He's the doorway of deliverance. He's the pathway of peace. He's the roadway of righteousness. He's the highway of holiness. He's the gateway of glory. He's the master of the mighty. He's the captain of the conquerors. He's the head of the heroes. He's the leader of the legislatures. He's the overseer of the overcomers. He's the governor of governors. He's the prince of princes. He's the King of kings and He's the Lord of lords. That's my King.

His office is manifold. His promise is sure. His light is matchless. His goodness is limitless. His mercy is everlasting. His love never changes. His Word is enough. His grace is sufficient. His reign is righteous. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. I wish I could describe Him to you . . . but He's indescribable. That's my King. He's incomprehensible, He's invincible, and He is irresistible.

I'm coming to tell you this, that the heavens of heavens can't contain Him, let alone some man explain Him. You can't get Him out of your mind. You can't get Him off of your hands. You can't outlive Him and you can't live without Him. The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him. Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him. The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree about Him. Herod couldn't kill Him. Death couldn't handle Him and the grave couldn't hold Him. That's my King.

He always has been and He always will be. I'm talking about the fact that He had no predecessor and He'll have no successor. There's nobody before Him and there'll be nobody after Him. You can't impeach Him and He's not going to resign. That's my King! That's my King!

Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory. Well, all the power belongs to my King. We're around here talking about black power and white power and green power, but in the end all that matters is God's power. Thine is the power. Yeah. And the glory. We try to get prestige and honor and glory for ourselves, but the glory is all His. Yes. Thine is the Kingdom and the power and glory, forever and ever and ever and ever. How long is that? Forever and ever and ever and ever. . . And when you get through with all of the ever's, then . . .Amen!

A Week of God's Glory and the Prophetic

This week we had the privilege to welcome Carl Wills and Dr. Gary Wills from the UK who shared the Word of GOD and really blessed many as we gathered at the Main Hall and Impact Centre. This is really a season for where God is not going to let anything slip through our fingers as we open our lives for more of GOD. Gatherings were held every night this week and we saw the Power of the Holy Spirit moving in the lives of people like never before.

With such accuracy was the Prophetic Word that it really penetrated the hearts of people and many will not be the same anymore. With God wanting to show us more of His Glory and longing for us to walk into what He has instore for us this week has been one of unlocking that which He has placed within us. Our nation needs God like never before and this is the time for a people of God to rise up and allow His voice to be heard through us as we begin to speak and live the Living Word of Jesus Christ.

We've not only seen people experiencing the Holy Spirit but also saw many lives being transformed by the Power of Jesus. This is only the beginning to what is ahead for us for this year and we are going all out in order for God to reveal as much of Himself to us during this time.

2009 and Beyond....

Impact Direct Ministries would like to wish you and your families a wonderful year ahead. May God increase His anointing over your life as He pour out His blessings over you.

After a year where we saw GOD reconstructing the lives of people young and old, and touching the nations of the world we are looking forward to see what GOD has instore for 2009. We know that whatever we do we do it to bring honour and glory to the King of kings. Last week Saturday we started the year with a day of prayer as many people gathered at the Impact Centre in prayer and thanksgiving unto the LORD.

The key themes of the prayer gathering was Vision, Encouragement, Unity and Thanksgiving along with the numarous prayer requests received from people. It was revealed to us that GOD desires to make known His manifold wisdom to all the earth. We as a people have been given this mandate to carry this wisdom to all the earth sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Vision

Encouragement

Thanksgiving

Unity

May 2009 be a year where we experience more of GOD

Glory Invasion

Last night many young people gathered at the Impact Centre with one purpose only to lift up the Name of Jesus. With Praise and Worship by "Sons of the Rugged Cross" and an appetite for more of God's Glory it was going to be an evening full of Power and a great move of the Holy Spirit. As we pressed into Worship we saw more of God in the lives of people and the atmosphere changed with an increase of the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 1:3 was shared and hearts were open to receive what GOD had instore last night. To see how God can change and transform lives in a second is incredible. It was truly God's Glory Invading the lives of young people on all levels. Jesus is the radiance of God's Glory and He wants to live within us. If we are open to receive what He has instore for us then our lives will never be the same again.

Apostles from the UK

Greetings and it has been awhile since we were here. I took a break and went off to the Wilderness for a holiday. We visited a church in Plettenberg Bay and also brought Apostles John and Christine Noble, Andy with us to Cape Town.

It is a great honour to have been with them and just see the awesome work GOD has been doing through them accross Europe. Apostle John Noble also shared at Cape Town Christian Fellowship Sunday and reminded us about being a witness for Jesus Christ. There were question that needs to be answered to help us with being a witness:
1) Who am I? Knowing who you are in Christ Jesus
2) What do I have?
3) What an I passionate about?

With simplicity he brought the message accross that Jesus wants want us His witnesses to advance the Kingdom with Power. There was also a prophetic Word that went forth that the World is waiting upon Africa to rise up and take what GOD has given us to the ends of the earth.
