It is Easy

Last night I had the opportunity to share with G.L.O.W dance ministries and once more GOD showed us that He is more than willing to pour out His Holy Spirit on whoever asks Him. The Word was taken from 2 Kings 3:15-20 and the LORD was reminding us that whatever we trusting Him for is easy for Him. No matter how difficult it may seem we need to allow GOD to bring His work to fulfillment. As in this passage the people called for waters to flow in the dry valleys, so GOD wants to pour out His Living Waters through our dry valleys.

As we called upon the LORD to let the Holy Spirit flow through our dry valleys, we had such an experience with Him. This Sunday G.L.O.W will be dancing at the Bridgetown Moravian Church. Let us pray for them and trust God for more of His Holy Spirit this Sunday because with GOD it will be easy.

GOD Encounter: NO Limits, NO Boundaries

The LORD is mighty and powerful. Last night at the Bridgetown Moravian Church was such an experience as we worshipped the LORD in Spirit and in Truth. The Bonteheuwel Baptist Youth worship band led in such a powerful time of Worship. All over the place people were just surrendering to the LORD and the Power of GOD was so evident.

G.L.O.W ministered in dance on the song "It is well with my soul" and there was definitely a move of the Holy Spirit while they were dancing unto the LORD. A singing group (Friends with Purpose) from Bonteheuwel Moravian Church ministered in song and we were blessed.

As we continued to worship the Holy Spirit began to move in lives of people, the ministry of the Word was taken from Luke 11:9-13 and many responded to the call of the LORD. People were healed, delivered, marriages were restored and more importantly lives were transformed through Jesus Christ!!! So we thank the LORD for His goodness towards us and there was definitely NO limits and boundaries to what the LORD did last night.

Well Done!!

This morning the Bromley Team (UK) handed out the certificates to all the people who were on the computer, card crafts, first aid and listening skills training. It was a time of celebration and honouring where it was good to see how GOD has used this team from Bromley in such a powerful way. Some of the young men also honoured them for the work they've done in the community and it was a wonderful gesture by the card crafts team also to honour Brenda Mills.

There was more honouring and celebration because it has been a year since Brent Williams gave his heart to the LORD and has been set free from drugs. He and his mom honoured Past Roger and Jennifer Petersen thanking them for their contribution to not only their family but also for all the other families they are enriching through their lives.

Well congratulations to all those who have completed the week of training and we trust that GOD will be able to use these skills to bring honour and glory to His Name. We also look forward to the next visit by the Bromley team!!

Praise the LORD!

Bromley team in the field

What a week it has been. The team from Bromley has been doing their training in the Bridgetown community and definitely having a positive impact on all those who are attending. Providing many people (seniors, adults, young people, unemployed, ex-drug addicts, ex-gansters )with skills ranging from computer training to card crafts and listening skills. How we wish we could have them for another week!!!

They have definitely blessed us in ways that they will never be able to understand. Everyday giving their time and knowledge to empower people. Some of the comments I heard from people on the training "i didn’t know computers can be so easy", "I’m starting my own card business", "you talk because I'm listening [my personal one:-)]" and "when are they coming back again?".

Well not only are they empowering us with skills but at the same time they are also on standby to minister into people's lives which is an even greater responsibility. This has definitely been a week where we can see many lives that has been impacted and how growth has taken place in individuals.

Pray for Jubilee church in Bromley for sending this team and be such a blessing and may the LORD increase their territory.

The Secret

Last night I visited the Moravian Bridgetown youth and we spoke about the topic "The Secret". The youth was excited and we also had visitors from the US and the UK.

The Word was taken from Matthew 6:33 where Jesus says that we should seek the Kingdom of GOD first and His Righteousness and then He will give these things to us. The secret lies in that everything we do, we should seek His Kingdom in it first. His Glory is manifested where His Kingdom is present. And the only way you will see the Kingdom is if you are "Born again" (John 3:3).

A number of the youth took the opportunity to respond to the Word of GOD and experienced the power of the LORD. The Holy Spirit was poured out and all praise and honour belongs to the LORD.

This Sunday the Moravian Church will also be the host to the next "GOD Encounter". So be expectant as we know that this Sunday GOD is going to give us more of His presence and Holy Spirit.

New Life

Here a video clip of Ashley being baptised today. Definately a powerful anointing on His life. So watch this space to hear more of what GOD is doing in his life.

Ferial, a recently converted muslim lady, is baptised after giving her heart to Jesus. She had an encounter with the LORD and we are seeing more people who are experiencing the Glory of the LORD.

Baptism of new converts

This afternoon we baptised 7 new converts who dedicated their lives to serving Jesus Christ. Seeing how GOD has transformed these lives is truly a blessing and increases our faith knowing that nothing is impossible with GOD. The new converts included ex-drug addicts and ex-gangsters but now they are disciples of Jesus Christ.

We could see that they mean business with the LORD and as they shared their testimonies we could feel the anointing falling over us. Taking them through the water was for all of them a life changing decision as they are taking one more step in obedience to worship the LORD. We ended the session with a time of prayer where we all united and asked the LORD to bless these new converts.

Pray for the new converts and especially for those who have families who don’t know the LORD.

Jesus the Light of the World

This morning Rene, Brent and I were invited to minister at the Bridgetown Presbyterian Church. The Sunday school, youth and young adults were using their talents to give God honour and glory. There was ministry in song, dance and drama and definitely an atmosphere of praise in the venue. The youth leader, Kyle Prince, was also sent by the church to Egypt where he will be joining a missions team.

Brent shared his powerful testimony and we could see the responsiveness of the hearts of the people in the church. He reminded us that GOD promises that our households will serve the LORD. Rene also shared a Word of knowledge to the church that GOD's glory is covering the earth and that the time for harvest of our labour has arrived. The work of our hands will be blessed. The Word was taken from John 8:12 where Jesus declares that He is the "Light of the World". Lots of people responded to the call to follow Jesus and came for prayer. There were people who received healing and who were filled with the Power of the Holy Spirit. All the Praise and Glory belongs to the LORD Jesus.

Keep praying for the Bridgetown Presbyterian Congregation, their young people and for the work that GOD is doing in their midst.

Bromley has arrived

Today the team of Bromley, UK, has arrived and we are definately looking forward to spend time with them. I'm sure it is going to be such a life changing period with them here and the next 10 days will be an opportunity for GOD's glory to be manifested.

So we welcome Jon, Jackie, Brenda, Jenna, Steve, Eileen and Martin to Cape Town. They will not only minister to people but will also provide skills (computer, crafts, first aid etc.) to some of our communities on the Cape Flats.

Weekend away testimonies

Last Sunday (11 Nov) Craig and Clint shared their testimonies and how they experienced being alone in the Wilderness hosted by Earl and the team from the Dream Centre. This encounter with the LORD definately impacted these young men and as you listen to their stories may GOD bless you.

Keep praying for the Impact Team, Earl and the work he's doing with young men in our communities.

Strengthen your position

We are seeing more and more how people are experiencing the Power of the Holy Spirit. At the Impact Centre things have really picked up and there is a greater increase of the Holy Spirit, the blessings of the LORD and manifestations of GOD's glory. As we look towards Jesus, let us "strengthen our position" (1 Kings 20:22) in the LORD and allign ourselves with God because our time for harvest is here.
