Eastern Cape Fire

This past weekend I had the privilege to join Paul Woodman, Zoe Gore and Gary Wills (UK) on a trip down to Dutywa in the Eastern Cape. It was an opportunity for GOD to release more of His presence in the midst of a people so passionate for the LORD with all the obstacles they face. Every gathering we had with the people was so powerful and GOD's Glory really just showed up and we were blown away by the greatness of our God. This weekend also saw many people giving their lives to the Lord, being healed, delivered and restored. Apostle David and Iris Mniki definitely are doing a great work in the Eastern Cape and after meeting with more than 100 young people we can see the Winds of Change moving through the Eastern Cape carrying the Fire of God to the people.

All praise and honour to the LORD.

GOD Encounter - What are you bowing down to?

This evening many young people gathered at the Impact Centre to have a deeper experience with the LORD. What excites me is the fact that God did more than what we could have asked or even imagined. The Sons of the Rugged Cross led us in Worship and the presence of the LORD was just awesome.

Ms Juanita Domingo then shared the Word of the LORD asking what are you bowing down to. The Word was so clear and many responded to the call for worshipping the only and true God. As we began to lift up the Name of Jesus the Spirit just came down and many were slain under the Power. We thank the LORD for all he has done and looking forward to the next God Encounter (which should be moment by moment).

Prayer and Power

God has really been good to us. Allowing us to experience so much of His Power!!!

Divine Transition

Last night we gathered at the Impact Centre and had a Pressing In gathering where young people came to experience GOD at a deeper level. Being 8/8/08 was significant for us and we decided to press into GOD as a generation. A divine transition is taking place in the lives of young people and God is wanting to release His Glory in all areas of our lives.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says "If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come". There is a constant renewal when you are in Christ Jesus and divine transition only happens when you remain in Him. He wants to take you from glory to glory!!! The results of pressing into Jesus was evident as many experienced GOD on another level. This is the beginning of these pressing in gatherings and we're trusting GOD for more of His presence adn Glory!!!

This morning GOD showed up in a big way at the Bridgetown Moravian Church. The youth hosted the service and I had the opportunity to share the Word of GOD from John 5. The congregation responded to the question Jesus asked the man at the pool of Bethesda if he wanted to get well. As the power of the Holy Spirit moved the entire church responded and wanted Jesus instead of religion.

Many encountered God this morning and we know this is just the beginning of the "Glory Revolution".

Pressing into Jesus

We are moving towards a time where things are becoming more blasphemous, more demonic,more envious....more subtly. As a believer in Jesus Christ those things plaguing us, wanting to remove Christ that is within us by having us stress, becoming angry or being depressed, are making their way to us, not in the form of obvious evil, but rather in a very 'nice' way. When we are at work, the boss will say something that will conjure up an irritation within us and lead us into cursing him. This is only one example of how the enemy tries to steal our joy, when Jesus already said : "My joy will be your strength". Therefore we need to be mindful of our circumstances and how it is engineered to drain Jesus from us, so that we willfully and fervently may press into the One who has it all: healing, salvation, power, redemption, deliverance, freedom, acceptance, etc. Because we belong to our infinite Saviour, we will never be in need of anything if it is Him we are pressing into for He holds all things together.
