Show me your Glory

This morning was the last day of the Portland Baptist Youth Campaign. In a week that saw many people saved,experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit, healed and being delivered there was an expectancy in the church this morning. Praising and worshipping our way into the presence of the LORD and just allowing the Holy Spirit to move in the venue.

The young people ministered in song, dance and testimonies and many people were encouraged to see what a wonderful work the LORD is doing in Mitchells Plain. It was also good to see young people honouring their pastor and his family by praying for them. I ministered the WORD "Show me Your Glory" taken from Exodus 33:17 - 34:3. Once more we saw people being responsive to what the LORD is saying and coming for prayer and ministry.

This week we've seen GOD doing such an awesome work in Portland, especially amongst the young people. Keep praying for the youth of Portland Baptist as they boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to their peers.

God's Pure Cure

Seeing so many young people coming together to praise and worship the LORD is a real blessing. So much power of the LORD was evident in the place this evening. The young people once more went all out with their ministry this evening glorifying the LORD Jesus. There was ministry in dance, song (some of the guys did a rap) and then the finale was the drama written and performed by the youth of Portlands Baptist.

The message tonight was "God's Pure Cure" taken from John 14:6 and people had the opportunity to respond to the call of Jesus Christ. People responded for prayer and once more we saw the manifestation of GOD's Glory in the place tonight. We know that all things are possible with our GOD and all praise belong to the JESUS.

Sunday morning will be the last day of the campaign and I know it's going to be indescribable.

Today approximately 300 Sea Point High students gathered to hear and see how GOD has changed lives of young men who was caught up in drugs and gansterism. Testimonies were shared by some of the guys from the Impact Team (See the video clip -Testimony of Nazier [yes, you finally on the blog:-)]) and the young people were told about the goodness of the LORD.

It definately had an impact on the young people who were present. Some of the young people also responded for prayer and we believe that this is only the beginning of what GOD has intended for many of these young men and women.

An encounter with GOD is all that is needed to turn your life around. God Bless you, as you keep praying for the team as they go around spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and as we see many experiencing the Power of the Holy Spirit

Pressing Through

Last night was the second day of the youth week and GOD just showed up in such a big way. There was such an atmosphere of worship in the place and truly the LORD's name was lifted up high. The praise and worship really set the platform for what GOD was about to do and the young people of Portlands really ministered powerfully though song and testimonies. Seeing young people who are on fire for the LORD is really a blessing and an encouragement. The Word "Pressing Through" (Mark 5:25:34) was the challenge for all who was there and what a response to the LORD. The LORD challenged us to press through and touch Jesus for our healing, deliverance, salvation and everything we can hope for. People came in their numbers to receive Jesus Christ and to be filled with the Power of the Holy Spirit. All praise and honour belong to our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ

We are definitely looking forward to tonight because something incredible is going to happen!!!

The Time has come!!

Tonight was the first night of a Youth Campaign at Portlands Baptist (Theme: God's Pure Cure) and I have the honour of being the speaker for this week. There was such an expectancy in the place that was packed to capacity and when the Spirit of God fell on the place immediately lives were changed!!! The young people of Portlands Baptist blessed us with songs of praise and worship, ministered in dance and testimonies. It was wonderful to see young people responding to God's Pure Cure and using their gifts and talents to honour and glorify GOD.


The time when the Word was shared there was already an awesome presence of the anointing in the place. The Word was "The Time has come" taken from Mark 1:15. The response to the WORD of the Lord and the hearts that were open to receive the Power of the Holy Spirit was incredible!! Many experienced the Holy Spirit and had an encounter with the LORD. People were saved, delivered and transformed through Jesus Christ and all the honour and Glory belongs to Him.

So now we are definately looking forward to tomorrow night. If it is anything like tonight then we're in for a mighty move of GOD.

Hout Kruis (Rugged Cross)

There are just some songs that draws you closer to the LORD. Here "The Sons of the Rugged Cross", (David - lead/vocals, Warren - keyboard/vocals and Joseph - drums), blessed us with the song titled "Hout Kruis (Rugged Cross)". These men are definately a blessing to the body of Christ.

The Life is in the Blood

Bridgetown Moravian Church, Cape Town - When you lift up the name of Jesus Christ and Worship Him then an awesome presence of the LORD always fills the place. That is what we experienced tonight, there was such a tangible presence of the LORD that whoever would just stretch out at tapped into it would have a life changing experience. Worship was lead by the "Sons of the Cross" and all over the place we experienced the Power of Worshipping the King of Kings. Truly when the praises goes up the blessings come down. So many people had encounters with the LORD just through the Worship.

Worship continued through dance by "Maranatha Dance Group" and there dance was challenging us to lay down our lives and giving our all to Jesus Christ. The Word was ministered by myself, 'The Life is in the Blood', out of Hebrews 10:19,20. Jesus Christ was the focus of the Word and just the importance of His Blood in our lives. Many responded to the call for coming into the presence of the LORD through the Blood of Jesus Christ. When they responded the Holy Spirit just flooded people all over the place and lives were given to Jesus. All praise and glory belongs to the LORD!!

48 hours to go

There is an expectancy in the air for what GOD is going to do at the next "God Encounter" hosted by Bridgetown Moravian Church. We are excited and know that this Sunday many will experience the Power of the Holy Spirit and lives will be changed because of Jesus Christ.

Giving Birth

Last night we had such a powerful time at home cell that I'm sure it will be a blessing to you. The Word that God gave us last night was that there are people who will conceive and about to give birth. Many at home cell conceived and gave birth to what the LORD has planted in them.

There are lots of people who are carrying the promises of the LORD, but yet haven’t given birth to it. I had a vision that there were people who are aborting the promises of the LORD in their lives and that the flesh is stopping it from being released. As with natural birth, the birth happens when the water breaks and in the spiritual realm the Living waters want to break forth into lives of people in order for the flesh to lift. With all the pains, irritations that come with carrying the promises of the LORD, it is the joy of seeing God fulfilling them in your life that makes it worth the wait.

Only the LORD can do it!

Bloemfontein- Last night some of the young people joined us to hear our testimonies and how God changed my life. Even though we from different parts of the country we share similar backgrounds. In my case it was a broken home, suffering from an identity crisis and giving in to peer pressure. If it was'nt for the LORD where would I have been. Sharing stories of my childhood, growing pains and how my family was restored was part of my testimony. Truly only the LORD can change lives and bring heal wounds.

After the testimonies Rene and I prayed with all of the young people and many experienced a breakthrough. We believe that lives were changed because of Jesus Christ. Once more they were all open to catch the Fire of the Holy Spirit. We know the "Only the LORD can do it!".
