Holy Spirit Fire

What an awesome time we had in the presence of God this evening. The Cape Town Christian Fellowship Women's Ministry hosted a Holy Spirit Fire evening. The venue was overflowing with people from all walks of life. The power of the Holy Spirit really came down and filled many lives this evening. Power testimonies of healing and deliverance was shared with a powerful time of praise and worship. The messenger was Mrs. Van Wyk who shared the uncompromising message of Jesus Christ. Reminding us of the price that was paid in order for us to experience the Glory of God.

There was definately an atmosphere of healing that flowed through the venue and a number of people gave the lives to Jesus Christ (All honour and praise belong to our Lord Jesus). The Holy Spirit Fire was upon many people tonight. It's truly exciting to see what God is doing and how people all over Cape Town and the rest of the world hungers after the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now I'm really looking forward to what God has instore for the rest of the week leading up to the next Glory Nights.

Heaven is converging with the earth

Jesus taught us to pray: "Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven..." (Luke 11). Heaven is converging with the earth and we are seeing and experiencing more of the manifestation of God's Glory as we seek His presence. This is the time to reflect the Glory of God through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, who is interceding for us.

Moving Forward

Last night was another night of experiencing the Glory of God. What an awesome time we had in the presence of God. Once more the venue (Impact Centre) was full to its capacity (There has been suggestions that we find a larger venue:->). Young people came from all over to experience the Glory of God. We had a number of new people (young and not so young)who joined us last night.

Glory Nights has now been running for a number of months and each time God just take our breath away:-). The evening started with Praise and Worship by the Cape Town Christian Fellowship (CTCF) Youth band. As we began to worship God the presence just increased. The more we pressed on the greater the annointing. A young man, Keagan (who God has saved from drugs)ministered to us in song,Robyn and Mishka (They are leaving 26 July for Malaysia) blessed us with a spiritual dance. God has really blessed us with so much talent and it is wonderful to see young people using their talents and gifts to bring Honour and Glory to GOD.

As we went into another time of worship and just called out on the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit just fell over everyone present. A Word titled "Moving Forward" was ministered from Isaiah 43:18,19. God don't want you to look behind you but ahead of you. Our Lord has new things in store for you as you move forward in Christ, Jesus.

After the ministry of the Word, the Glory of God was manifested: we witnessed healing, salvation, people experiencing the Holy Spirit for the first time and so much more. Later when some of our young men returned from a ministry outing the testified to having gold dust appearing on their hands!!

The more we seek God the more of the manifestation of His Glory will be revealed. The next Glory Night will be August, 5 and we are excited knowing that God is going to shake the foundations of lives and more people will experience and see His Glory.

Experiencing the Glory of God

What an awesome time we had last night as we experienced the Glory of God. The Impact Centre was filled with young people that we even had the entrances full of people standing who wanted to experience the Power of God. The evening started off with a time of Praise and Worship and already we could feel the presence of God in the venue.

During Praise and Worship a number of people experienced God as we ushered in the presence of the Most High God. The evening continued with ministry in song by Mark Peters (www.maximizerecords.com) and Daughters of Eve singing Psalm 33 (Written and arranged by Andre), dance by Cape Town Christian Fellowship Dance group and the Maranatha Dancers. The more we began to Worship and declare Jesus Christ as Lord the greater the increase of the presence of God.

I ministered the Word titled "Experiencing the Glory of God" taking the text from Acts 16:25,26. As Paul and Silas were praying and praising God and they saw the manifestation of GOD's Glory through the shaking of the foundations of the prison cell, we experienced and saw the manifestation of God's Glory in the people's lives last night.

The Holy Spirit was so evident in the place that all accross the venue, young people were crying out to God and being filled by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Young people gave their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as their Lord and Saviour.

We had such a powerful time that people in the doorway when they entered the venue were slain in the Spirit of God. All Honour and Glory to God!!

We ended the evening with a session of Praise and most of the young people never wanted to leave because of the presence of God that was in the place. Praise the Lord, as they requested to have a follow-up to this Glory Night, therefore we will be hosting another powerful evening next week Sunday, 22 July 2007 at the Impact Centre starting at 6pm.

Glory Nights

Over the past few weeks we hosted "Glory Nights" at the Impact Centre and what an awesome time we had. We've seen many young people accepting Jesus Christ in the to their lives and saw the manifested Glory of the Lord in our midst.

Tomorrow night we will host special guests: "Sons of the Cross" who will lead in Praise and Worship. I am so expectant because I know that we are going to experience an outpour of the Holy Spirit. The theme is "Experiencing the Glory of God".
