Cape Town Revival
Last night was the first of the Cape Town Revival gatherings in a city that needs more of the Holy Spirit. We had apostles and ministeries coming from the UK, Free State, Eastern Cape and from different parts of Cape Town to bless what GOD is doing here in Cape Town. Apostle Norris from the Free State opened the gathering with a Word from the LORD giving confirmation that GOD will satisfy our thirst and hunger. He will however increase our desire for Him aswell and that the nations need the Fire of Revival. We were warned though that the Revival is not ours but belongs to the Holy Spirit and that sin contaminates whenever the LORD Jesus wants to bring about a fresh move of HIs Spirit. The Word taken from Acts 2:17 that the LORD will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Immediately the power of the Holy Spirit descended upon the gathering and we went into a time of Worship.
Throughout the Worship, the LORD manifested His Glory and all Praise and Honour belongs to Him. We could just find ourselves facedown crying out to the LORD for repentance. The LORD clearly spoke to us that Jesus is calling us.
A statement by a lady in the gathering:
"Yesterday was awesome, people came there just to worship and there was no need to “warm up” because the presence of GOD was already there! And I believe that it will increase as we are expecting GOD to do even more. I’m confident that as we become more sensitive to His Spirit by praying and waiting on Him, GOD will show up! So I’m looking forward to the week ahead, trusting that the GOD of all creation would honour us with more of His Power, His Fire, His Anointing, flowing into our communities and restoring our people forever – definitely exciting times!"
Truly what an awesome GOD we serve. AS the people responded to receive more of the Fire of the Holy Spirit, people got saved and healed. Many people's lives were restored through the Power of Jesus.
All praise and the Glory belongs to the LORD and we are looking forward to tomorrow night for more of His Presence.
